?I belong to this organization. It is called Youn Wha Ryu and was brought to the US in the 70’s by Grandmaster Man Hee Han, a ninth degree black belt from Korea. This system is very efficient and focuses more on becoming a better person than on learning to kick somebody’s ass.
I know the people who run this academy. They are very decent, hard working, and loyal. This is a purely Asian martial arts system ran by a very Asian Grandmaster.
I guess since we live in the more rural parts of this country it opens us up to all sorts of juvenile potshots.

So many forms of martial arts weave in and out of one another, overlap, and branch out that it is always s bit confusing. I’m not so much interested in extreme styled martial arts (alot of which reminds me of WWF bravado) as much as more spiritually based forms.
I have alot of sin but I don’t caste it out because on no moon nights it is nourishing to bathe in.

My children own and operate this Martial Arts academy. They are the finest people you will ever meet and have worked very hard to introduce this spiritual, all encompassing program to the mid west area. Both my son and his wife are 5th degree black belts and have worked hard to get where they are. They encourage children and adults to become better people, more fit, and to be accountable for their lives. Don’t judge that which you know nothing about.
